35 Practicing Using Sentence Frames When Acknowledging Opposing Views

Consider these naysayer/potential opposing view sentence frames. As you concede a point from the opposing side, you must not only identify the opposing viewpoint BUT ALSO give some time/space/explanation that shows you understand this critique of your ideas/your solution. Try starting that acknowledgement section with:

Some will say my solution is not viable because…

Some people might say that…

A few will argue that…

Those on the other side of the issue may say that…

It’s true that…

I agree with those who say…

Admittedly/truthfully/undeniably…

If we’re being completely transparent…

To be fair,

I totally understand why some people think that…
