8 Identifying Your Community: Brainstorming for the Multimodal Personal Narrative

You can think of a community in a lot of different ways; it could be the people who live in the same place or a group that shares similar interests. But how well do you know your community? You can live somewhere or be part of a group for a long time and come to realize that there’s a lot going on there that you weren’t even aware of! This worksheet will help you become more aware of the communities you belong to, and the problems they might face. When you’re finished, scan/photograph this sheet and upload it to Canvas for 5 points.

  1. Community brainstorm: What are six different communities you are a part of or interested in helping?
